Every Other Time: Be-sides from Every Other Time is available now at whatever price you'd like to set. This 6-track EP includes songs we recorded in Baltimore with Brian McTernan while recording Only Every Time, plus a couple demos from our home studio in Springfield, IL.
Each of these songs were close contenders for the album, and we're happy to share them with you! The download also includes album artwork and handwritten lyric sheets.
Please remember, whatever you choose to pay will go straight to us, the band, and will likely be used to repair our van/equipment and help us get back out on the road very soon.
Set Me in Motion went through several changes over a 2 year span. With the help of our producer, Brian McTernan, we were finally able to finish the song. It was used with a Facebook promotion, and is now available to everyone.
lyrics
Am I just a lonely wolf you hide under your bed
Far away from your friends
You keep me dry as a bone, just a ghost on the telephone
Far away from home
Won't you talk to me until i fall asleep
And come for me
You set me in motion
But you lead me astray
I'm still running backwards
But I know that I can change my ways
Fully drunk on prison wine, take two steps at a time
But never cross that line
And the way you hold me back is more than I can bear
Hands pulling through my hair
So love me up against your bedroom wall
Or let me be
You make it easy so I don't feel so ashamed
You spread your love around
(The moment that i feel safe)
You always turn me on and then you go and turn me out

I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix

I can always find myself in every single aspect of The Sun and The Sea's work. Beautiful and dreamy instrumentals combined with comforting and profound lyrics are there for me on my highest and lowest days. Being able to relate to everything personally, these fellows will remain to be my favorite band as I continue to travel into the unknown hikaruonline
